I recently showed you an oversized Canadian Tuxedo, so here’s a fitted one. This particular shade of denim blue is what comes to mind if you close your eyes and imagine jeans. In top-to-toe quantities, it gives me major retro vibes, so I chased that feeling with ’70’s-inspired layers and some of my favorite vintage pieces. You’ve seen this vintage Versace Jeans Couture tee star in a more feminine ensemble, and while this Western belt is super on-trend right now, it makes a solid throwback statement when sandwiched between two pieces of snug blue denim.

Try a top and sweater with drastically different necklines—and cropped hemlines—to create a fresh layered look. Jeffrey Campbell is definitely the king of sky-high, fabulously bizarre shoes, but he also makes the perfect simple, sleek footwear to give boyfriend jeans and crop tops a polished finish. Black oxfords are a must going into fall; they can dress up your jeans, and toughen up a bodycon dresses.
