Your calendar says March, but the forecast says otherwise. Lately, we find ourselves stuck in a windy, winter wonderland just about every other day; but this won’t go on forever, and you’ll soon have to stow away your outerwear and fuzzy winter accessories, and brace yourself for bikini season. Why not jump on these last chances to rock the rich textures and fun layers that winter allows? There’ll be no place for my shag coat(s) or my faux shearling handbag once the temperatures (finally) rise, but they’re two of my favorite fall/winter pieces, so I’m gladly giving them some extra glory days while I shiver through this weird weather. I don’t know about you guys, but sometimes I feel a little strange wearing such wintry pieces during this time of year, so I bring the look up to date with accessories we’ll be seeing a lot of when spring finally arrives. Chokers of all varieties are all the rage right now, and are sure to bring any outfit up-to-date, even if it’s mostly comprised of fall/winter attire. You can’t go wrong with chic staples like a casual LBD or simple black fedora during any season, so they make a nice foundation for the outerwear you’d like to enjoy during this transition period.
