Working in fashion retail, I noticed that many shoppers fear the color orange. I don’t know why, and I can’t be sure whether or not the majority’s aversion to all things orange contributes to my growing love for what I consider to be a very flattering, happy color.
As a huge portion of my earlier posts will show, I also love black and white. Who doesn’t? It’s a simple, yet bold, and reliably chic combination—but it can also become repetitive. Small pops of color, like these blood-orange Chanel sunglasses, will liven up and diversify your black and white winter wardrobe. Once the temperature creeps up to a tropical fifty degrees, I’ll start pairing these orange shades with outfits that rival real-life double-complete rainbows (—Can you say “Bonnaroo 2014”?)Theory houndstooth jacquard sweater, harem trousers from Urban Outfitters, Maje black & plastic heels.
